Dr. Anita Williams is the Medical Lead at Southwood Animal Hospital . She graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 and began her career here at Southwood that same year.
She is married to Dale and they have 2 children - Ashley and Evan, a son-in-law - Stephen and one grandson - Gray. They attend Perry Methodist Church where she sings in the Sanctuary Choir and rings in the handbell group.
Anita is an avid supporter of her alma mater as a member of the Auburn Alumni Association, Tigers Unlimited and The Middle Georgia Auburn Club where she is a past president. She enjoys spending time at the lake, at Disney and with her precious Gray - and the rest of her family.
It was her childhood dream to be a Veterinarian and she has cherished her career here at Southwood caring for your beloved pets - many for their entire lives.
